WHO WE SERVE
Akola Academy serves women in crisis who have fallen through the cracks of other poverty alleviation programs and desire to be free from assistance and seek self-sufficiency.
In Dallas, we serve women in crisis, who are unable to meet their basic needs and those of their dependents, with vocational training, career coaching and transitional employment, to set them on a pathway to self-sufficiency, empowered to transform their families and communities.
In Uganda, we serve vulnerable and marginalized women who care for an average of nine dependents with cutting-edge training, development programming and living wage work to restore their hope and launch them into dependable careers or sustainable entrepreneurship.
The programs Akola Academy provides have proven to be successful with both restoring hope and launching women into self-sufficiency with dependable careers and skills needed for success.
